El Lago Club
The El Lago Club has been designed to become an integral part of the landscape in Marbella, perfectly in tune with its natural surroundings, its architecture fused seamlessly with its environment and enjoying uninterrupted views of the lake. The roof garden extends throughout the entire building, with paths and rest areas that allow one to simply relax and enjoy the views of the lake. Its vegetation is made up of indigenous species and adapted plants with low water consumption, in line with the environmentally responsible and sustainable vision of La Quinta Grupo Inmobiliario for the entire Real de La Quinta resort. The roof garden is part of a wider route around the entire lake to be enjoyed by walkers, joggers and cyclists...
Kayak, paddle surf or water bikes are just some of the non-motorised water sports that the club will offer on the lake which covers 35,000m2 and measures over 400m at it’s longest point. A single reception will manage the entire range of sports activities available, such as the golf course and the professional tennis and paddle courts.
Works progress
The works of El Lago Club with its leisure facilities, the golf course and the lake itself are well advanced and progressing favourably. Day by day the future lake takes more shape, in these new images you can appreciate the large scale of the project, which becomes more evident as the works progress. El Lago Club is scheduled to be operational in 2026.
The building of El Lago Club is in the last phase of development, the structure has been completed and we are working on the exteriors, equipment and furnishings. The filling of the lake has begun and is currently at 80% of its capacity. As for the water infrastructure, both the technical wetlands and the lake bottom piping network have been completed. The pedestrian walkways, designed to improve the connection with the natural environment, are under construction. The golf course work is progressing at a good pace and all the holes have been completed. The El Lago Club golf course will have 6 holes available for all those who want to enjoy a game at any time of the day while enjoying the breathtaking views.
