Interview with Manuel Piñero, designer of El Lago Club's golf course

In this interview with Manuel Piñero, designer of the El Lago Club's golf course, he shares his vision behind the design of the executive golf course. 

The course is a 6-hole executive golf course with three par fours, two par threes, and one par five. The designer points out that the greens are quite large and can accommodate two flags, allowing you to play two rounds, 12 holes, or a third round to complete 18.

The course is ideal for playing a few rounds in the morning. Afterwards, you can relax at El Lago Club with family or friends who don't play golf, or even escape at sunset for a quick game while watching the sun go down. 

Manuel mentions that the course is adapted to the terrain and the type of vegetation used on the course comes from what is available on the estate. In addition, the terrain is perfectly accessible on foot. Visitors can walk around with their clubs and trolley and play all the holes without any problems. 

With regard to the oxygenation of the lake, irrigation water must not come into contact with the lake water to avoid problems with oxygenation. For this reason, a large waste area without irrigation has been created on hole 2. 

The course is now completely shaped, and sand will begin to be applied for sowing. Sowing will take place from the end of July until mid-August. And you will be able to see the green field at the end of September or beginning of October.
