Music and colour at the Feria de San Bernabé

Preview Feria de San Bernabé 2023

The summer is only a few weeks away, and Marbella is already full of the joy and festivities of the summer season. The Feria de San Bernabé returns to the Costa del Sol for another year with a week of celebrations and activities for everyone.

A start to the festivities in style

On 6 June, the festivities got underway and will fill the streets of Marbella with music and colour until Monday the 12th. The lighting of the Arco del Recinto and the opening speech by the singer and composer José Manuel Soto gave the green light to the most awaited fair week in Marbella.

This first day of celebrations ended with the crowning of the queens and the king of the fiestas. As a climax, the fireworks could be enjoyed, especially from the terraces of the Marina.

Warming up for the weekend

Throughout the week, popular activities will take place during the day and at night in the surroundings of Alameda Park, the facilities of the Recinto Ferial and the Plaza del Mercado, among other key locations in the city. Rociero choirs, dance academies and food stalls will be the keynote of these first days of the fiesta.

The weekend will be reserved for the most important events of the Fair, such as the historical recreation of the entrance of King Ferdinand the Catholic into Marbella (Saturday 10 June from 10.45 h), the civic-religious procession to the Cruz del Humilladero (Sunday 11 from 9.00 h) and great musical performances.

Among the headliners for the Feria de San Bartolomé 2023 are artists such as Rosario Flores, Camela, Ruth Lorenzo and Rosa López. In addition, the Feria will also include Bernafest (Saturday 10), a music festival organised by the local Mesa Pop collective with the backing of Kiko Veneno, Vera Fauna and numerous local bands.

All the detailed information about the Fair is available on the official website of the Marbella Town Hall.
