Real de La Quinta is set to become the residential complex with the widest leisure offer on the Costa del Sol

Benahavís (Málaga), 31st January 2023 La Quinta Grupo Inmobiliario has begun work on the El Lago Club within the Real de La Quinta residential complex, located in Marbella-Benahavís (Málaga); which is destined to become the largest leisure complex associated with a residential resort on the Costa del Sol. El Lago Club, which will become a reality in 2025, will consist of a restaurant area, operated by the renowned Azotea Grupo; a Health & Wellness area, run by Le Max Club; a golf course and, of course, a lake with a beach area and a jetty where you can participate in a variety of recreational activities such as kayaking, wind surfing or paddle surfing, among others. It will also have tennis and paddle tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, a children's play area, etc. 

El Lago Club in Real de La Quinta thus becomes an unparalleled leisure, restaurant, sports and wellness centre within a residential resort. A complex that, in addition to being successfully consolidated, is located within a natural environment and is perfectly integrated into the idyllic slopes of the Sierra de las Nieves, a biosphere reserve declared by UNESCO, with views of the cosmopolitan Costa del Sol. 

El Lago Club is designed under the strictest quality standards and designed to take care of the environment in which it is located. El Lago Club: a unique proposition in a unique location. 

A beach, a lake, and a golf course in a privileged, natural location

The recreational lake designed by Hidroingenia, which will have a water surface of 36,000 m2 and a maximum length of around 420 m, is now underway and will be located in the center of a golf course designed by Manuel Piñero. A flexible playing course made up of 6 holes (one par 5, three par 4s and two par 3s), which will also have various configurations of tees and/or pin positions, such that it offers the possibility of playing a complete course of 18 holes. The golf offer will be completed with an academy area, a short practice area and a long game practice area. 

The lake will have a sandy beach about 120 meters long that will be next to a jetty that will serve as access to the water sports area. In the southern area of the lake, residents will find the pool area and tennis courts. 

The El Lago Club building, designed by Alex Stewart & Partners and Paula Saco, is the answer to the integration of the complexity of the project. This building will follow the topography and shoreline of the lake. The silent architectural concept results in a timeless building with the least visual impact ensuring that the view of the lake is always preserved. The integrated and accessible roof will provide continuity with the circular walk from the hotel to the golf course, and will be integrated with a soft transitional landscaping using local materials and vegetation.

Highest quality gastronomy and a premium Health and Wellness area. 

The residents of Real de La Quinta will not only be able to enjoy sustainable and quality homes located in a unique natural environment, but they will also have a wide gastronomic offer and prime Health & Wellness facilities. 

Azotea Grupo, which has extensive experience through their renowned and exclusive restaurants, including Picalagartos Sky Bar & Restaurant in the heart of Madrid's Gran Vía or the Azotea del Círculo, in the Círculo de Bellas Artes, will be charged with putting its signature to the gastronomy of Real de La Quinta. You will find everything from an exclusive area for cocktails and private events to a 248 m2 restaurant with a large bar, an indoor table area and a 900 m2 outdoor terrace.

For its part, Le Max Club, the most exclusive firm in Madrid, will be charged with of operating a unique Health & Wellness centre within in a residential complex. In addition to a 420 m2 fitness area, it will have several areas where you will be able to practice the most fashionable disciplines such as bikram yoga, inferno hot pilates, cycling or running. In addition, users will be able to relax in a 200 m2 spa with Jacuzzi, heated pool, sauna, hammam, sensation showers; as well as sports and beauty treatments. Likewise, taking advantage of the privileged climate that the area offers, a large area will be dedicated to the practice of outdoor sports such as swimming, CrossFit, yoga, Pilates, clay tennis and paddle tennis. In short, as stated by Alejandro Escudero, founder and CEO of Le Max, "the most exclusive Health & Wellness experience in a privileged environment come to Marbella".

The global project of Real de La Quinta will involve an investment of approximately 600 million euros, mostly directed to local companies, and is set to become the main focus of international residential attention in the Mediterranean in the short and medium term.
