Interview with Marisol Serrano, commercial director of Real de La Quinta
Marisol Serrano, commercial director of Real de La Quinta, tells us that the vision behind acquiring this 200-hectare plot was to commit to a development that respects the natural environment, in a privileged location. A long-term investment was made in infrastructure based on sustainability criteria, which enabled this project to become the first resort in Spain to be certified with the BREEAM seal.
In May 2017, after overcoming the real estate crisis, the Pascual family, led by current CEO Borja Pascual, launched a very special residential development. The idea was not simply to build homes, but to create a destination, a community, a different way of life, integrated into nature.
A new luxury beyond design
With the support of international experts in resort development, a dream became a reality: bringing the beach to the mountains. An artificial lake of over 35,000 m² is currently being developed, featuring a beach and surrounded by a sports club, an executive golf course, tennis and paddle courts, as well as water sports facilities. All of this is being created with full respect for the natural landscape and a design focused on integration.
The first project, Olivos, laid the foundation with innovative architecture, the use of natural stone and wood, and a design that seamlessly connected indoor and outdoor spaces through terraces integrated into the living area. Each subsequent phase: Quercus, Palmitos, Sabinas, Enebros, Mimosas, and Romero, has evolved while preserving the core principles: low residential density, exceptional quality, and a design that adapts to the natural surroundings.
This resort is not just a luxury development. It is a value proposition based on an exceptional location, with panoramic views of the Mediterranean, La Concha mountain, and a protected natural park. It is also home to an international community of owners from over 40 nationalities.
Here, luxury goes beyond materials and design, it's about something deeper, living in harmony with nature, in a secure, exclusive, and authentic environment.
