Interview with Ignacio Pujol, designer of the lake purification systems
In an interview with Ignacio Pujol, the designer of the lake's purification systems, he shares details about the lake with us. With a surface area of 4 hectares and an average depth of 2 metres, this large body of water stands out not only for its scale but also for its design, which is fully integrated into the project's natural environment.
Conceived as the landscape axis of the development, the lake serves as a visual and functional meeting point. Its shape and proportions make it a great place for walking and contemplation.
Lake purification
What really sets this lake apart is its operating system, which reproduces the biological processes that occur in natural lakes. This includes the incorporation of wetlands, aquatic plants and a natural filtration system based on microorganisms, capable of keeping the water in perfect health and clarity, without aggressive chemicals.
To guarantee this water quality, the project has collaborated with Balena, a German company specialising in natural water treatment. Dr Gang has supervised the work to ensure that the water is of optimal quality for aquatic activities.
The result is a lake that not only beautifies the environment but is also equipped for recreational activities with a high level of quality. In short, it is a lake that integrates sustainability, technology and landscape design, replicating the balance of nature with precision and respect for the environment.
